Farzi is a black-comedy crime thriller that explores the world of counterfeit currency, greed, and the "fakeness" within society.

Sunny (Shahid Kapoor), a brilliant but disillusioned artist, attempts to save his grandfather's failing printing press by creating the "perfect" counterfeit note. His success pulls him into a dangerous criminal syndicate led by the flamboyant kingpin Mansoor Dalal (Kay Kay Menon), while Michael (Vijay Sethupathi), a fiery and unorthodox task force officer, relentlessly pursues him.
