The story follows , a humble and struggling barber living in the quiet village of Budbuda with his wife and two children. His life is turned upside down when a Bollywood megastar, Sahir Khan , arrives in the village to shoot a film.
The 2009 film (originally titled Billu Barber ) is a heartwarming Hindi-language comedy-drama directed by Priyadarshan and produced by Red Chillies Entertainment. The movie is a remake of the 2007 Malayalam film Katha Parayumpol and is loosely inspired by the mythological tale of friendship between Krishna and Sudama .
